Standing on stage and making people laugh or cry, slipping into a wide variety of roles in front of the camera: perhaps you dreamed of becoming an actor / actress as a child. But then you discarded the idea. After all, it’s not a “real” career option, is it? Wouldn’t you rather study something “real”? We have good news for you. At Cours Florent, you can make your dream come true. What career opportunities are available to me?

After completing your Bachelor’s degree, you can make a career for yourself as an actor / actress in theatre or film. But there’s more. Thanks to your versatile training, you will have many skills that are in demand in the (media) industry.
Actor / Actress
As a permanent actor / actress, you are a member of a theatre ensemble. You remain with your municipal, regional or state theatre for the entire season and receive a fixed monthly salary.
Freelance artist
Freelance actors are booked for various engagements by theatres, film and television productions. Sometimes they also take on modelling jobs in advertising or work as dubbing actors.
Spokesperson
As a dubbing artist, you lend your voice to Hollywood stars by recording their texts into English or another language. You can also work in radio, dub commercials or record audio books.
Moderator
Use your stage experience to confidently lead through TV shows, radio programmes or live events as a presenter. Many exciting encounters with your guests and the audience await you.
Assistant director
During your studies, you will have familiarised yourself with text analysis, dramaturgy and scene construction. This knowledge will help you to coordinate the processes of a theatre or film production as an assistant director.
Masters degree
Would you like to delve even deeper into (media) science? Then opt for an advanced Master’s programme. However, you can also take a completely different path and do a Master’s degree in business administration, for example.
