Checklist: We need these documents from you
You will need certain documents to enroll for the acting degree programme at Cours Florent or Macromedia University. You must present the following documents upon enrollment.
Graduation certificate or entrance test
If you would like to study acting, you should bring your Abitur or high school diploma with you and present your certificate when you enroll. If you do not have a university entrance qualification, you can alternatively prove your general knowledge and creativity by taking an entrance test.
Tabular CV
You should note your previous educational and professional background in a tabular CV. If you have already gained some experience as an actor, for example in school theatre, you can also mention this in your CV.
Proof of language skills (C1)
If you would like to study in English, you will need written proof of your English language skills (C1).
Signed study contract
If you have convinced our judges and passed the entrance exam, we will send your study contract. To enrol on the drama degree programme, send the signed study contract back to us.

How does a workshop work?

The acting workshop in Berlin is aimed at interested parties with and without previous experience. You will take part in improvisation exercises, sharpen your concentration and observation skills and receive valuable feedback from our instructors. At the same time, you will take a look behind the scenes at Cours Florent acting school and Macromedia University and gain an insight into the drama programme.

How does the audition work?

For your audition, you prepare one monologue, which you choose from a monologue list, and a second, which you can choose freely. You have one week to prepare. Your performance will be judged according to the following criteria:
  • RECOGNISABLE WILLINGNESS TO STAND ON A STAGE / IN FRONT OF A CAMERA.
  • ABILITY TO ENGAGE AN AUDIENCE MENTALLY AND EMOTIONALLY.
  • ABILITY TO INTEGRATE FEEDBACK INTO YOUR OWN PERFORMANCE.
