Prof. Andreas Herrmann
Andreas Herrmann studied music for three years and then went on to study directing at the Zurich Acting Academy. He worked as an actor in the ensemble of the Städtebundtheater Biel-Solothurn, Stadttheater Bern and Staatstheater Mainz for 15 years. While working there as an actor, he also directed at these theatres. He has also been a guest lecturer at various theatre colleges.
Between 2004 and 2006, he invented and managed the Kultur-Schloss-Roßla in Saxony-Anhalt with its own music and theatre festival. From 2007 to 2016, he was Head of the Acting Department at the Lucerne Theatre. He has been working as a freelance director, project manager and guest lecturer at the Zurich University of the Arts since the summer of 2016. Andreas has been Professor of Acting at Cours Florent Berlin since October 2019.
