Inka Löwendorf

Inka Löwendorf is an actress and teaches Actor Speech in German.

Inka first completed a classical ballet training at the Deutsche Oper Berlin and worked as a freelance dancer from 1992 to 2000. From 2000 to 2004, she studied acting at the Max Reinhardt Seminar in Vienna and subsequently appeared on stage at the Schauspielhaus Wien, the Staatstheater Mainz and the Berliner Ensemble, among others. From 2007 to 2017, Inka Löwendorf was a permanent ensemble member at the Volksbühne am Rosa-Luxemburg-Platz under the artistic direction of Frank Castorf. There she worked with Martin Wuttke, Johann Kresnik, Herbert Fritsch and Frank Castorf, among others. At the same time, she founded the Heimathafen Neukölln. There she is the artistic director, plays in her own productions or directs. In addition, Inka works as a narrator for radio, records audio books and appears in front of the camera.
